Compact, ultrahigh-precision tubing built under clean room conditions is crucial to the high-tech industry. In the semiconductor industry in particular, space is limited, resulting in increasingly complex tube forms. To tackle these challenges, we don’t just build to print. Our engineers increasingly take on the entire product development cycle.
We harness our CNC tube bending capabilities to meet the needs of high-purity sectors such as semicon and pharma. The materials we bend include electropolished stainless steel and alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy. And our outside diameter capacity ranges from 3 to 20 mm.
Our approach
Our engineers design the tubing layout in Creo. The design is then programmed into the CNC bending machine. The bent tubes are subsequently measured against the CAD data using Hexagon TubeInspect. Its optical scanning functionality enables fast and detailed measuring and analysis. Using the measurement coordinates, any deviations are then corrected in the bending program, resulting in tolerances of max. 0.1 mm.
Your benefits:
- tight tolerances
- complex tube forms bent under clean room conditions
- repeatability, enabling both volume production and seamless replacement
